Green light for unusual colors
We have snooped for you in the world of professionals who outline the trends of the year: specifically, we want to introduce you and offer you the most popular colors of this 2019. Tastes are tastes, we know, but sometimes we need to know how to dare and push ourselves towards frontiers that rationally we wouldn’t travel, but unconsciously we’d like to try. The colors are varied and in our opinion they can meet different tastes and opinions.
For the walls
The first thing we noticed is that dark, saturated shades are back in fashion. In the last period there has been an exaggeration in light tones, which reflect the Northern European style, such as white, light woods, dove grey, light grey, pastel, taupe. Now, however, we immerse ourselves in dark shades that reflect the Victorian style. It is therefore a classic style, but with an extra boost that makes it contemporary: not bright, just more intense, always remaining opaque and earthy.
Furnishings and accessories
On walls, fabrics, sofas and chairs, from high fashion shows to interior design, burgundy is the first color we see returning.
Sage green will also be increasingly featured in furnishings, a color that does not tire the eye because it is never heavy, thanks also to the increasingly popular trend of green living. The shade of green tends towards khaki, more greyish. Or there is dark green, a very chic but certainly courageous choice. Imagine having breakfast in a room of this color.
Coral, the color of the year 2019, halfway between pink and orange, in shades from antique rosé to rust red, might be more for you.
If you prefer a warmer shade, yellow could be a nice choice, from mustard to curry to saffron to aged gold. Certainly a choice that will liven up your interiors thanks to nuances that we see more and more often used as finishes for brushed brass lamps or other furnishing elements.
